Scholarships Now Available!
We are pleased to offer scholarships of up to $300 (per person) to help offset the registration fee for our Grassroots & Groundwork conference.
Eligibility Criteria
Scholarships are available to individuals, with a maximum of three people from the same organization.
Applicants must be from one or more of the following:
- Nonprofit 501(c)(3) with an operating budget of less than $500,000 annually. Staff, board members and active volunteers are eligible.
- Community of 50,000 or fewer residents.
- Tribal reservation.
How to Apply
The National Rural Funders Collaborative is processing applications and awarding scholarships. Your odds of receiving a scholarship are better if you apply early, as scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds have been distributed.
To apply, send the following materials via e-mail to nrfc@nrfc.org:
- Letter of application including:
- Contact name.
- Organization.
- Mailing address.
- Tax ID number.
- Which of the eligibility criteria apply to your situation.
- A description (at least 200 words) of your present involvement in a poverty-reduction initiative.
- A description (at least 200 words) of how this conference information will be shared with others in your community.
- Proof of 501(c)(3) status (if applying as a nonprofit).
- Proof of organization/program budget (if applying as a nonprofit).
